Early 20th century. An assortment of British made Leather strops “impregnated with carborundum”. Featuring patinated metal hooks.

Originally used for sharpening straight blades. These are incredibly aesthetically pleasing hung alongside one another.

Roma 425 - Shell horse hide - was created by AMOR W. W. SON & CO. LTD who were sole makers of world renowned "Roma" brand of razor strops, belt or hanging strops.

A second piece, 488 by Carborundum Company Ltd - who originated in America in 1895 but later opened factories in Germany and Trafford Park, Manchester.
