These particular models were produced between 1880 and 1940 and were designed for light and quick restraints. In excellent working order with gentle patination. Named accordingly the nipper cuffs, if not used correcty, would nip sharply at the wrists of prisoners. An effective tool. Simple twists from the open ended handle would gain control via pain compliance.
